Audit levels define the amount of detail provided in each audit record, and are defined per service. The examples below show PNT audits when three properties are modified in a point record. The primary differences between the levels are the number of audit records produced and the amount of data recorded in each.
This example shows the results when the PNT is set to Level 1 auditing. Although three changes have been made to the point record, only one audit record is produced. This record indicates only that the point has been modified, not the details of the change.
In this example the same three changes have been made to the point yet it results in three separate audit records with the specifics of each change.
Each service has its own range of audit levels.
